Jacques Pepin demonstrates deboning a whole chicken, quickly and with complete control. It is a short, wordless-feeling technique demo that shows a skill most cooks never learn.
HN calls it the single best cooking video on the internet and suggests it as a skill worth practicing for an hour.

That video is amazing and taught me how to make omelets. Of course, Pépin is also responsible for the single greatest cooking video on the Internet: this video
Recurring reminder that Pepin's chicken deboning video is the best cooking video that has ever or will ever be put on the Internet: this video

3blue1brown is a special kind of awesome. I'd love to filter the internet by "content that can give you insights right now that would otherwise take years of study in a specific discipline to even know exists". Another that I saw recently on an HN comment (thanks tptacek) is this video A quick google for "3blue1brown awesome github" (my usual strategy for finding good similar content) landed me here: [LINK] The awesome lists are pretty good starting points for finding good content, but there's a ton of them of variable quality, so you end up with stuff like this: [LINK] (which has 68 forks...)
Wow! I'm not sure how I missed that back in the day. Here's the video transcoded on YouTube for anybody else who's curious: this video
