A one-minute Sesame Street animation of a counting pinball game focused on the number 12, set to Pointer Sisters music.
HN mentions it as a fondly remembered classic of children's educational television.

I've always wondered how many classic Sesame Street sketches were made by artists and animators while tripping on psychadelics. All the sketches below are ones I've seen when I was little. The legendery Pinball Number Count, with music by the Pointer Sisters : this video Totally tripped-out alphabet, and I mean totally tripped-out : [LINK] Multi-armed guru counting to twenty a few times including in Spanish : [LINK] Little kid gets lost in a weird neighborhood : [LINK]
There have been a few attempts at this. I think the most well-known one is probably this one [1]. While we’re at it, I’d love to see a physical version of the seseame street pinbal table [2], though that one might be a bit more ambitious. :) [1] - [LINK] [2] - this video
I grew up on it too but a full generation earlier. Even now when some unlikely coincidence surfaces the number 12, sometimes this song[0] still pops into my head. [0] this video
