Publisher of a newsletter and directory covering self-hosted software, with weekly news, app roundups and user surveys.
HN commenters recommend it as a maintained directory for finding open and closed source software to run yourself.
Most people will use nginx-proxy [0] or Traefik [1] for front ending home labs with LetsEncrypt certs... Beyond that people will protect them with things like Tailscale [2], Cloudflare Tunnels [3] or even just mTLS [4] for protected access.
Home labbing today has a lot of amazing software and it's hard to keep up!
And as for dashboarding [5] on top of all this there are a lot of options.
Also, for those new to the game who want an easier way to approach take a look at Tipi [6].

Pull requests are a core feature of git, the protocol, so I think you probably mean certain PR features more than just PRs.
Issue trackers can be self-hosted from fully mature applications via docker images. You might find something here: https://selfh.st/apps/
CI is typically actioned from a configuration file in your repository to a CI SAAS solution, which could be anything. Travis CI was popular for a long time. When I was big into CI SAAS my favorite was Semaphore CI.

> Feel free to reach out and share the details of your project with me.
> Note that I will not manually intervene with the order in which your project is displayed. The current sort options (repository stars, last activity, alphabetical) are an objective method for displaying projects without personal bias.
This product looks awesome and the mobile app looks exceptional. But if it’s not self-hosted and in some kind of standard format, you’re SOL when the company shuts down. Even though you can export your data, where are you supposed import it to?

This was my first thought. With projects like the "awesome lists of..." stuff too, I feel those do a pretty good job of distilling the more popular or in demand projects to browse through. Then you've got places popping up around those, like https://selfh.st/apps/ (which I just discovered via HN a week or two ago)
Has it? How many PiHole, ESPHome, and other random Raspberry Pi Home Assistant "servers" are out there? I suspect it has never been more popular.
On a related note, I'm enjoying the Self-Host Weekly newsletter[0], which is full of random open source self-hosting products.
