I don't know enough about immunology to say whether "binding more broadly" confers more immunity or not.

It would certainly go against prior knowledge about human immune responses for a single spike protein (vaccine) to elicit a greater immune response than _the actual virus_.

That CDC study is so bad I'm surprised they had the gall to publish it with the conclusion they did. Testing positive says nothing about severity of infection.

      > were about five times more likely to test positive for the infection than people who had been vaccinated

Testing positive is not a very good metric. Were they hospitalized? Was it severe? Did they even get sick, or just test positive?

They even admit to a sampling flaw in the discussion:

      > Second, persons who have been vaccinated are possibly less likely to get tested. Therefore, the association of reinfection and lack of vaccination might be overestimated.

The best study on this so far is from Israel with a much larger sample in a highly vaccinated country. Here's a Harvard doctor discussing the contradictory studies.

      https://brownstone.org/articles/a-review-and-autopsy-of-two-covid-immunity-studies/

      > For a low-risk person, which includes most people with natural immunity, a 35% risk reduction is more marginal in terms of absolute risk.

      > Based on the solid evidence from the Israeli study, the Covid recovered have stronger and longer-lasting immunity against Covid disease than the vaccinated. Hence, there is no reason to prevent…

      >The irony here is palpable.

Is it? There’s a big difference between misunderstanding a picture location -where I admit I was wrong- and someone is willing to shoot because big pharma said so and still willing to do so if it would happen again, not knowing their mistake, this goes without mentioning the dozens of examples and proven evidence how it was dealt with there, from the quarantine camps [1], to people denied food because they are not vaccinated [2], or how police used drones and other tech invading people basic privacy and liberties [3], and I’m not even going with post-vaccine injuries.

I’m not talking about vaccination policies or itself was effective or not, I’m talking about basic human decency among each other, it’s ok if you do a mistake, admit it, and learn from it especially if you were “just following orders”, just like how I admit that pic was wrong, the least can be done is admitting a lot of covid shenanigans were wrong,it’s time to fix that, and hold some people accountable for ordering others to do such atrocities.

As described in the article, all that happened were subpoenas for documents. That's the very first step in any investigation. Those documents have shed significant light on the relationship between the SIO and government agencies [0]:

      > Led by former CIA fellow Renee DiResta, the Virality Project functioned as an intermediary for government censorship. Ties between the US government and the academic research center were extremely close. DHS had “fellows” embedded at the Stanford Internet Observatory, while SIO had interns embedded at CISA, and former DHS staff contributed to the Virality Project’s final report.

      > The Virality Project also had contact with the White House and the Office of the Surgeon General, described the CDC as a “partner” in its design documents, and the California Department of Public Health had a login to access the Jira content flagging system, as did CISA personnel.

It sure seems like SIO was acting as a government contractor/agent here, if it was providing services to the government in exchange for funding.

      >So many people are refusing vaccinations that we will never see the end of this disease.

      I'm one of those people.

I didn't want the vaccine after having long covid, because I believed natural immunity was much better than training my immune system on an earlier version of the virus. I was right.[1] Not only that - but unvaccinated were shown to have the same viral load even if they did get infected.[2]

So why are you blaming the unvaccinated? Right now there are more excess deaths than any time during the pandemic.[3] Even people who were provaxx are questioning why it's happening now.[4] If the vaxx was so great less people should be dying or was that not the point?

Because of Covid science has proven masking is a waste of effort and resources. If you disagree you should really research the latest studies.

Here is a great starting point from 2021.
      https://brownstone.org/articles/studies-and-articles-on-mask-ineffectiveness-and-harms/

      They are a failure. Globally.
      https://www.amazon.com/Unmasked-Global-Failure-COVID-Mandates/dp/1637583761

One of the largest peer-reviewed European studies says...
"These findings indicate that countries with high levels of mask compliance did not perform better than those with low mask usage."
      https://www.cureus.com/articles/93826-correlation-between-mask-compliance-and-covid-19-outcomes-in-europe#!/

Why? Because they are ineffective and were only introduced as a way to busy or "pacify" the masses.
