According to this substack[1], it was a pilot walkout/"sickout" due to vaccine mandates. It's actually happening in more companies/industries than widely reported. I imagine it's also picked up steam since last weeks revelation from leaked internal Pfizer emails[2] that they used cells from aborted fetuses while testing the RDNA vaccine (testing - it's not in the vaccine), but have publicly stated otherwise. It was also pretty clear that they did not want the public to know from the text. And a lot of "religious exemptions" are being turned down. This would be a bit like taking a staunch vegan and forcing them to eat something (via threatening career) that was tested on animals while they said otherwise.

      > The pilot emailed following the first Southwest post today (and provided his SWA ID to prove his identity). He asked that I paraphrase the email.

      > Essentially, the union cannot organize or even acknowledge the sickout, because doing so would make it an illegal job action. Years ago, Southwest and its pilots had a rough negotiation, and the union would not even let the pilots internally discuss the possibility of working-to-rule (which would have slowed Southwest to a crawl).

      > But at the moment the pilots don’t even have to talk to each other about what they’re doing. The anger internally - not just among pilots but other Southwest workers - is enormous. The tough prior negotiations notwithstanding, Southwest has a history of decent labor relations, and workers believe…

Those charts are unfortunately not truthful. They are designed to manipulate people into taking vaccines. In other countries with more truthful approaches to data what you see is close to no effectiveness against death anymore, and seriously negative effectiveness against infection i.e. the vaccinated get infected a lot more often than the unvaccinated do.

The way public health agencies like Canada's manipulate the data is as follows:

      1. They use a form of statistical adjustment called test negative case control. This is meant to remove bias from observational data, to go from "case rates by vaccine status" to "how effective the vaccine is". But to do this it critically relies on the assumption that people don't control whether they get tested for a disease or not. For many diseases this is somewhat reasonable, because people don't control if they feel sick and they don't control what tests a doctor decides to use. For COVID this assumption obviously doesn't hold, and as such this adjustment method goes wrong such that it raises perceived effectiveness incorrectly.

      2. They don't count someone as vaccinated for a relatively long time after they took their shots (like, weeks or even longer). There is no biological basis for this - try and find one, whilst remembering that the spikes are meant to be fully gone within one or two days. This creates two forms of bias: it creates a period of time in which the vaccinated cannot die (a denominator issue), and also, the vaccines…

That was just the top of the links when I searched. I think the important point about Delta pilots is they won't have to join Southwest and American Airlines' pilot rebellions against forced medical treatments from which they believe they will receive no benefit.

Some people don't like Mr. Berenson, but I think he's consistent:

      > [...] The pilots I’ve heard from don’t want [systemwide flight cancellations] - they didn’t become pilots NOT to fly. But they also recognize they are speaking for tens of millions of working Americans who are furious with the choice the Biden Administration is forcing on them: your right to make medical decisions for yourself, or your job.

      > So what happens next? The answer may come down to a delicate dance between the airlines - especially Southwest and American - and their employees. If the airlines signal that anyone who wants an exemption can get one, they may keep the anger to manageable levels.

Edit: Can't respond to the comment below. Don't care about Snopes, I think they mostly peddle whatever the consensus happens to be, even when provably wrong. Berenson's substack seems to support that there is a silent rebelion amongst airline pilots.

Here are some examples of people that were banned/suspended, and one that was not.

[1] Dr. Zelenko of the Zelenko protocol fame

[2] Alex Berenson, formerly of the NYT, for raising the vaccine lack of protection issues, and for merely posting Pfizer test results [3]

[4] Dr. Martin Kulldorf, Epidemiologist, for stating natural immunity from previous infection superior to vaccine. Later proved correct by Israeli studies which proved natural immunity superior via "Interestingly, CD4+ T cell responses equally target several SARS-CoV-2 proteins, whereas the CD8+ T cell responses preferentially target the nucleoprotein, highlighting the potential importance of including the nucleoprotein in future vaccines" [5]

[6] Facebook suspended users for casting doubt on origins which later became more credible after the US government gave it more credence [7]

I think a big part of the problem is when BigTech tries to become the authority on information, and is often trailing the data from authoritative sources, or, incorrectly inserting itself into scientific debates in order to prop up a prevailing line, for which there may be weaker evidence.

[8] Jon Stewart was not banned or censored when he raised some of the same covid origin logic problems. I am not sure if this is because he is quite funny, or, it may have been viewed as a comedy bit. However, he did receive a large amount of flak from the left.

      >The irony here is palpable.

Is it? There’s a big difference between misunderstanding a picture location -where I admit I was wrong- and someone is willing to shoot because big pharma said so and still willing to do so if it would happen again, not knowing their mistake, this goes without mentioning the dozens of examples and proven evidence how it was dealt with there, from the quarantine camps [1], to people denied food because they are not vaccinated [2], or how police used drones and other tech invading people basic privacy and liberties [3], and I’m not even going with post-vaccine injuries.

I’m not talking about vaccination policies or itself was effective or not, I’m talking about basic human decency among each other, it’s ok if you do a mistake, admit it, and learn from it especially if you were “just following orders”, just like how I admit that pic was wrong, the least can be done is admitting a lot of covid shenanigans were wrong,it’s time to fix that, and hold some people accountable for ordering others to do such atrocities.

      >For a brief while after getting vaccinated, before Delta and Omicron, my friends, coworkers, and I felt we were out of the woods. We are actively going out together to our favorite hangouts and being normal. I didn't think we would need this site.

You seem to be describing what journalist Alex Berenson has coined the "happy vaccine valley":

      >the three-to four-month period following the second dose when antibodies are high enough that the vaccines actually appear to work. (For those of you keeping score at home, that’s two weeks of negative efficacy after the first shot, a month of maybe 50% efficacy, three months of near-complete protection, and then a rapid fall to what looks like 0% protection within three months. https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/so-you-understand-whats-happening

Of course that description was written in Sept 2021 based on pre-Omicron data, and the picture is different now. The latest data: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.01.07.22268919v1.full-text

See Figures 1 and 2 above. This study from California in December shows much lower protection from the current vaccines against Omicron compared to Delta: 0% effectiveness of a 2-dose regimen at 6+ months, and 49% effectiveness of a 3-dose regimen at ~2+ months.
