How the pyramids were built in Egypt

    Geopolymer Institute

The Geopolymer Institute presents Joseph Davidovits's theory that the Egyptian pyramids were built from cast artificial limestone, a geopolymer concrete, rather than carved blocks. It demonstrates how few people could make blocks.

HN brings it up as an alternative, fringe theory about pyramid construction, with one commenter saying it was proved by demonstration and analysis.

they literally proved it through a demonstration and chemical analysis maybe do some reading and watch the video on youtube: this video

User aaaaaatttuyy has not mentioned the fact that NASA has recently found a crater under the Hiawatha glacier in Greenland that was, at the time of discovery, supposed to be 12k to 3M years old. But a paper from March that tries to cross-validate this finding by looking at sedimentary data in South-America finds that the impact must have occurred 12,835 ~ 12,735 years ago. Nice to see geopolymers mentioned. Geopolymers are becoming more common around the world. They can be formulated from local materials and in many cases have superior material properties to Portland cements. Joseph Davidovits of the Geoplymer Institute has been instrumental in the spread of his lifes work, geopolymers. Davidovits also claims that many ancient megalitic constructions were made using geopolymers which fits with stories of technologies that soften rocks. Geopolymer Institute is an amazing resource on the subject. [LINK] Pyramids of geopolymer, this video

I had read an interesting theory stating that the building blocks were cast in place, similar to pouring concrete. Here a video explaining the theory: this video
