Archive footage from 1964 of Royal Marine Commando volunteers filmed on a field exercise after taking LSD at Porton Down. It documents a British military drug trial.
HN cites it as evidence for strange military experiments, in particular soldiers being dosed with LSD to test their performance.

We might never know what is currently in use, but I'm convinced that any wild and wacky idea has been tried by somebody. Some fun ones off the top of my head: - Meet Wojtek the bear: [LINK] - AT-Dogs: [LINK] - Ships made of ice and saw dust: [LINK] - Funny tanks: [LINK] - Pink camouflage: [LINK] - Gay Bomb: [LINK] - LSD Trials: this video - Portable nuclear launcher: [LINK] Also dogs don't need to attach handcuffs, it suffices that they chomp on your leg. And that they can be trained for easily enough.
The British army actually dosed soldiers with LSD to see how they'd perform in drills. Needless to say the result was hilarious (climbing trees to feed the birds, incapable of reading maps) this video Not sure if I'd trust people tripping around ballistic missiles though. These guys have been living in rough conditions, underfed and sleep deprived ... not the best "setting".
Oddly enough if you joined the British Army in days of yore you might have found yourself ordered to take LSD. this video ( Likely also true for other countries, eg: USofA, etc )
