Terry Moore's three-minute TED talk showing a better way to tie shoes, replacing the common granny knot with a square knot so laces stay tied.
Recommended as a tiny, useful life hack many commenters adopted for good.

More than 10 years ago, somebody shared this clip with me: this video Been tying my shoelaces like this ever since.
Do you have to tie a double knot to keep your shoes from coming untied? Do your loops end up pointing down at your toes and up your leg instead of pointing to the sides of your shoe? Do you shoes come untied all the time? You are probably tying a granny knot instead of a square knot. this video
Two quick things from back when TED talks were actually interesting/useful: 1. How to tie your shoes the right way (so the knot doesn't come undone): this video 2. How to dry your hands with a single paper towel (so that you prevent unnecessary waste): [LINK]
Reminds me of the TED talk on how to tie your shoes. I was surprised to learn I've been doing it wrong for a quarter century. this video
This reminded me of a short TED talk, I watched many years ago, where a guy showed how to tie your shoes. Here it is: this video
