Dylan Beattie's parody of 'You Give Love a Bad Name' about hypermedia APIs and REST, performed with his band at developer conferences.
Shared as developer humor, with commenters insisting any Dylan Beattie mention must come with this song.

Man, those Dylan Beattie's videos are out of this world!! I laughed way too hard on a number of them - You give REST a bad name - this video We're Gonna Build a Framework - [LINK] Enterprise Waterfall - [LINK]
I want to highlight Dylan Beattie while we're posting our favorites. [LINK] His song DMCA is my little favourite, but "You Give REST a Bad Name" is also excellent. And he does perform at conferences! (Mostly .NET ones) this video
Sometimes I wonder if my late-in-life recent appreciation for maths* be just a symptom of having failed to die {in a bizarre gardening accident, driving off Skyline Blvd} while my body could still handle following the childish dream of hex, bugs, and rock&roll. * [LINK] "Haskell? I was into those guys before they were cool. Miranda, man, that even had diagonal comprehensions... Have you heard of Hope? Kiff this, mec..." Lagniappe: this video
Good point. In the spirit of [LINK] I propose we add "european programmer's day", celebrated on 5.12 (Dag Sinterklaasje)? Let's all meet here again. I'll bring a bottle or two of Pastis 512 (unfortunately adjusted with magic marker instead of a hex editor) and we can blast Dylan Beattie and the Linebreakers: this video
any dylan beattie post must be accompanied with a recommendation for his hit single, You Give REST a Bad Name this video
