A long video essay on the claim that chemicals such as atrazine are feminizing frogs. It covers the science, the EPA and the role of chemical companies.

Cited as support for the claim that chemicals affect amphibian sex and as an example of corporate influence over regulation.

    1. @richbellDec 2023· in “Inert pesticide ingredients in may be more toxic to bees than scientists thought”

It's even worse: the chemical companies also get to dictate what science is allowed to be considered. this video (this whole video is a gem, but ~13:30 is the relevant bit)

As ridiculous as it is, this one is very likely true. For a thorough review, see ”Gay Frogs: A Deep Dive” by Oki’s Weird Stories: this video

    3. @richbellMar 2023· in “‘Forever Chemicals’ Deserve Far More EPA Scrutiny”

It seems to me that the EPA has been totally captured by corporate interests. It's hard to listen to stories about decisions they've made, for example approving Atrazine[0] despite the protests of the scientific advisors, and have any confidence that they'll actually make a meaningful impact. The frog one isn't far from the truth: this video If you spout out every random conspiracy theory you know, some of the things you say will be true.
