A short clip, titled Orwell Comes to America, on reasoning and perception. One HN user links it repeatedly as the science showing human minds are bad at reasoning and do not see reality as it is.

Almost entirely one commenter's repeated citation as evidence on unconscious thinking and flawed reasoning.

First realize what is going on and why, watch the science video, then manufacturing consent then the rest. The elites fear political awakening, thats why all this is happening. First, our brains are much worse at reality and thinking than thought. Science on reasoning: this video The (mass surveillance) by the NSA and abuse by law enforcement is just more part and parcel of state suppression of dissent against corporate interests. They're worried that the more people are going to wake up and corporate centers like the US and canada may be among those who also awaken. "Empires are not monolithic." First see the science on reasoning, your brain is not the reasoning god you think it is: this video Which is meaningless, what is the evidence of the US imposing laws on countries that are not of the US? AKA are corporations getting their way? If we go by evidence, there is no democracy and their power is quite monolithic. Consider that these laws have been growing in power for 200 years almost, so don't buy the 'the creators are hurting and the evil pirates are stealing' argument, the public domain is completely destroyed (aka freedom to own, modify, repair software, own and update video games, etc). AKA ownership is being taken away completely from you in a one sided deal where they have total control. [LINK] Crisis of democracy [LINK]

      >I can't be bothered to even unpack some of this loony RMS-level cutesyness, like that WoW is "stolen from the public" because it's a server-client game. I can tell you the facts and you won't reason to the right conclusion, see the science: this video You don't seem to get, that before world of warcraft, UO and everquest, we were getting PC RPG's with single player and multiplayer inside the same game. To think that wow and eq are "different" or "special" and require "corporate ownership" means you are gullible and stupid beyond all comprehension, you can't put two and two together on how your market signal effects the entire videogame market in a networked world. Neverwinter Nights 2002 on gog is a "persistant world oyu controlled" that has the dedicated server functions included inside the game and you own and control it. World of warcraft was a tax on the stupid. You don't seem to get what your market signal told every company on the planet, as soon as you buy ANY piece of software that is client server in a world that has internet, ANY game is now going to be forced to be made that way, that's why we lost Diablo 3, Fans of diablo 3 wanted diablo 3 with level editors, modding, etc. Fans of Quake 3, unreal, wanted modding nad dedicated servers to continue.... oh shit we got quake champions a totally locked down game with no level editor and basic functions like skins and colors locked behind paywalls. You don't get that the plan for the corporate world was to make every piece

MMO's were a scam, they were just rebranded PC RPG's, you don't seem to get you are the gullible one here. If you buy ANY piece of software in an internet enabled world that you don't own or ontrol, you have just broadcast to the entire corporate world that you are gullible. They will try to client-server EVERY game and EVERY piece of software, what the hell do you think mobile is? Steam is by definition an irrational piece of corporate malware that shouldn't exist, up until 2004 we were getting complete local applications, or honestly coded PC games. That is why as you go backwards in time before internet penetration reached the computer illiterate, we had level editors, server exe's and dedicated servers embedded inside the main game exe. Descent 3 came with server executable. MMO's are just RPG's where the server exe isn't given to you. You can see this "MMO" racing game you can play completely "offline" proving that mmo's were a scam. Need for speed world was just a fork of most wanted and rewritten to be client server, AKA a scam. Think of this, you can run Need for speed world entirely from your PC without monthly fee or micro-transactions, then that means that paying a monthly fee for software you don't own is irrational. [LINK] Anytime you see a login screen on a piece of game or other software you're seeing stolen software buddy. You don't get they've already won, the battle was won between 1997 and 2004. Ultima online and everquest were trial balloons to undermine s

Your post is so full of inaccuracies. The rich have always preached free market to the masses while taking state subsidies for themselves.
