Food YouTuber Adam Ragusea argues that gas stovetops are weaker than electric burners, dirty to clean, and a health risk from indoor air pollution. He cites Consumer Reports ratings and a literature review on gas stove health effects.

Cited as an accessible overview of the case against gas cooktops in threads on cooking, induction and indoor air quality.

An induction cooktop and electric pressure cooker certainly makes a gas connection for the kitchen unnecessary. There's an interesting video from Adam Rageusa on how bad gas cooktops are: this video I think that gas cooktops and open-air cooking vessels are just used frequently because they're easy to show off on cooking shows... Its hard to make a Youtube video on things cooking in a sealed pressure cooker.

this video - Great coverage of this entire issue [LINK] - Gas VS Induction [LINK] - Gas VS Induction Tl;dr over 50% of heat from a gas stove ends up in the environment. Nearly 100% of the energy from an induction cook top ends up in the pot.

      > One of your sources is selling cook tops Yes, both gas and electric. See also their video "Induction Cooking: Pros and Cons - Part 1": * [LINK] And "Induction vs Pro Gas Cooking: Pros & Cons": * [LINK] > There is nothing wrong with natural gas - other than it's trendy to push electric currently. And the fact that it's highly inefficient and throws oodles of heat into your kitchen. See also perhaps Adam Ragusea on his own gas stove: * this video

Cooking with natural gas is thought by some people to be very good, but food YouTuber Adam Ragusea is not a fan of it in the home he recently moved into: * this video
