A YouTuber explores the Chernobyl zone in 2013, takes a gamma spectrum of a hot reactor fuel fragment, and jokes about a radioactive ant bite. It is a hands-on amateur look at radiation in the exclusion zone.

Cited as an example of Chernobyl YouTuber content and of casual handling of radioactive material.

Genuine question from someone that doesn't understand. Is she exposing herself to more radiation than is safe? Is there a very high likelihood she's going to make herself sick? I watched this one this video and she seems to be pretty callous with that hot particle.
