This was an amazing read! The entire thought of being so versatile as the article mentions is similar to the book Homo Deus by Harari.

In my opinion we always needed to be versatile to stand any chance of being comfortable in these insanely rapid changing times.

If you haven’t, I recommend reading Harari, specifically Homo Deus and Nexus. He writes at length about what he calls dataism, a new kind of religion filling the void liberalism and enlightenment left in us. Good reads.

This was the first thing that popped into my head too as I read Homo Deus a few months ago.

A very accessible book for all. I recommend it. It’s not perfect but it’s a good, easy read compared to other books touching on the same subjects.

Harari gets a lot of flack (I guess having wildly popular books and fame does that), but I found both Sapiens and Homo Deus entertaining.

And, yes, I've read some of the criticisms of his work. They seem to take issue with the tiniest claims, even go so far as labeling his work as "dangerous"[0]. "Harari’s motives remain mysterious". It's hilarious.
