   The purpose of RRO assumes majoritarianism while ensuring the minority is heard.

   As you know, there are light weight versions, for boards and committees. But nothing I'd advocate for product development.

   If you're this worried, don't bring your phone lol. If you need to take pictures (and don't take identifiable pics of people without consent), just bring a camera.

   Otoh, the main function of protests is to get media attention, so if they don't get publicized there was basically no point unless they evolve into direct action.

   Since becoming politically active, my recurring facepalm is discovering that a whole lot of people don't see the world as I do.

   I just finished If We Burn by Vincent Bevins and When the Clock Broke by John Ganz

   One point (of many) repeatedly hammered home, with IRL examples, is that a whole lot of people demand Order, even at the expensive of Justice.

   A very successful evergreen (authoritarian) playbook is to keep people anxious, so that they'll accede -- nay demand -- to ever more draconian, reactionary policies.
