What Hacker News says
- Worth reading given its focus on Fort McMurray, the key city in the oil sands: “Fire Weather - A True Story from a Hotter World” https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61966364
- Fire Weather: A True Story from a Hotter World by John Vaillant.
It is ostensibly about the 2016 Fort McMurray, Alberta wildfires, but the background is broadly interesting as context for this last summer’s historic wildfire season and the ones sure to come.
- Thanks for the book suggestion. I've been fascinated with the early study of climate change since I read Fire Weather.
