Wake up and take control of your life! From the bestselling author of Inner Strength, Unlimited Power, and MONEY Master the Game, Anthony Robbins, the nation's leader in the science of peak performance, shows you his most effective strategies and techniques for mastering your emotions, your body, your relationships, your finances, and your life. The acknowledged expert in the psychology of change, Anthony Robbins provides a step-by-step program teaching the fundamental lessons of self-mastery that will enable you to discover your true purpose, take control of your life, and harness the forces that shape your destiny.
"Tiny Habits" by BJ Fogg is another one which I find very useful. Just the basic idea of having tiny/baby steps to take is a powerful one.
"Loop Habit Tracker" app is a great app to keep track of your habits especially the ones where you want to record yes/no responses. It's free app available on android (I am still looking for something similar for iPhone for my wife!).
Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins is one of the better ones based on the various areas of your life. (Raising Standards, Limiting Beliefs, Change your Strategy)
If you don't read this book, there's plenty of others regarding how our mental state can do more damage than good. Some are even associated with chronic physical pain such as back pain or migraines.
For as little as $10 or a trip to the local library (or online version), you can potentially change your life by reading a book with something foreign to you that you try and it suddenly works.
It wasn't the book itself that changed my life, it was the exposure to all of the underlying ideas & philosophies that then significantly changed my life. I know many people can't stand the guy, but his book was really powerful for me at one point in my life. I got my shit together and started to understand the origins of many of the messages he promotes.
I like to think that there's a paradox of book reading in general in that you never remember what you read, but you change because of it.
Steven Pressfield - The War of Art + Turning Pro
Tony Robbins - Awaken the giant within (maybe he's released a better book than that now, but it was impactful personally back in the 90s)
I'd try Awaken The Giant Within and/or Unlimited Power. Another good motivational book is Relentless by Tim S. Grover. There's also Unleash The Warrior Within by Richard Machowicz.
