"The Idea of the World", by Bernardo Kastrup. A complete departure from my materialistic view of the world, and - in spite of certain arguments made in the book, with which I disagree - offered me the chance to learn something that now requires more reading on the topic.

I read an excellent book called The Idea Of The World, by Bernando Kastrup that reminds me of this. It made me consider idealism waay more seriously.

For a superb and rigorous account of the ontological basis of consciousness, and why it might be superior to panpsychism while being more in line with scientific evidence, check "The idea of the world" by Bernardo Kastrup (or any of his work/youtube interview). Really compelling case.

He used to work at CERN, and was the youngest executive at ASML, till recent when he decided to dedicate himself solely to philosophy. He's not your regular wanna be woo-guru for sure.

Very interesting. Reminds me a lot of The Idea of the World by Bernardo Kastrup, who also argues that the basic building blocks of existence is consciousness, and that idealism is a better model for the all.
