Was this not the premise of "Paycheck" by Philip K. Dick?

Read the story. The movie is pretty universally regarded as horrible.

This was probably inspired more by Philip K. Dick's Paycheck than Office Space. In Paycheck, the protagonist agrees to work on a secret project for two years, after which his memory will be erased.

The extreme was already explored by Philip K. Dick in his 1952 short story Paycheck: https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Paycheck_(short_story)

      > Jennings, a talented electronic engineer, has accepted a secret contract with Rethrick Construction. The terms of the contract state that he will work for two years on a secret project after which he will have his memory of the time erased and will be paid an inordinate sum. It is implied that this type of working contract has replaced non-disclosure agreements in business and is commonplace.

Philip K. Dick explored this idea in his short story "Paycheck"[0], which was made into a movie[1].

Edit: Did you edit your comment? I'm pretty sure you hadn't mentioned Paycheck. No problem, just making sure I'm not going crazy. :)

I'm intrigued by the coming future of the megacorp. Philip K Dick wrote many stories where the giant corporation is the tribal, protect-our-own protagonist against the faceless, authoritarian government. Paycheck being the most memorable example. It's going to be interesting when companies don't even have to pretend to be subservient to the government anymore.
