Oooh isn't this by Zed A Shaw? The dude single handedly pissed off the Ruby community with this.

He also wrote the Learn Python the Hard Way book and advocated against Python 3 for years. I learnt Python from that book and it was crazy how much vehement hate he had for Python 3.

He ultimately caved and wrote Learn Python 3 the Hard Way.

      Try this instead:

LLMs will give you an uncertain percentage of wrong answers. It’s like having a teacher that lies to you and doesn’t know when they are lying and has zero understanding of the information they give you.

Googled "zed Shaw learn python the hardest"

He has learn c the hardware too and a few others

Surprised your search didn't work, he was sort of well known for those books, and the "programming mother fucker" website

      Oh wait, here it is

What forced me to understand more fundamentals was actually studying leetcode. It led me to learn more about data structures, things like itertools, and other other algorithms.

Combined with a good book (eg learn python the hard way) it’s an approach that worked for me.

programming in general, i tried probably half a dozen different times throughout my early teens to understand how to write programs in pascal, C, python, java, and it wasn't until I was 18 when I found Zed Shaw's "Learn Python the Hard Way" that it clicked.

Learn Python the Hard Way: https://learnpythonthehardway.org/python3/intro.html

      > The Hard Way Is Easier

      > With the help of this book, you will do the incredibly simple things that all programmers do to learn a programming language:

      > 1. Go through each exercise.

      > 2. Type in each file exactly.

      > 3. Make it run.

      > That's it. This will be very difficult at first, but stick with it. If you go through this book and do each exercise for one or two hours a night, you will have a good foundation for moving on to another book about Python to continue your studies. This book won't turn you into a programmer overnight, but it will get you started on the path to learning how to code.

      > This book's job is to teach you the three most essential skills that a beginning programmer needs to know: reading and writing, attention to detail, and spotting differences.
