Silent Invasion: China's Influence in Australia is a 2018 book by Clive Hamilton and is about the growing influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Australian politics and civil society. The book details systematic attempts by the government of the People's Republic of China to expand its influence and espionage network in Australia. I suggest you read some books on espionage. China is a fantastic example of what corporate espionage can do. If interested I recommend Silent Invasion.

There is tremendous knowledge to be gained also, to call the opposite of privacy social freedom, is disturbing to me. If you are more private in some aspects of your life does not mean you cannot be more social in others.

There’s a great book called Silent Invasion on this matter. The book pertains to Australian but the author provides sources of similar tactics happening in Canada and USA as well.

      > obvious to anyone with basic thinking skills that "the government of a county" and "the people/nationalities/culture of a county" are two totally different things.

The CCP has invested a lot of energy into making the people of China conflate these two concepts. The party IS China and the two are inseparable according to the CCP.

This is where the topic becomes contentious and not so black and white. The CCP has successfully influenced millions of people into doing its bidding abroad. And the CCP is fully aware of the West's strong aversion to racism in any form, and has been able to weaponise it.

Every Australian needs to read Silent Invasion - China's influence in Australia[1] and understand how deep CCP influence runs in every walk of life here. We can't begin combatting the threat until a sufficient percentage of the population understands exactly what the threat is and how it works.

If you'd like to read a well researched book on the subversive goals of the CCP, I suggest you read "Silent Invasion"[1]. Note that there some critical reviews of this book, suggesting it's connecting dots where there isn't true motive, but little criticism of the evidence presented. I encourage you to read it and make up your own mind and draw your own narrative around the facts.
