That's a fair point. The big problem I see with "lots of exciting live events at any time", and I agree this is not everyone's perspective, is how I am again confronted with a curation dilemma. Need someone to vet the content (reviews, ratings etc) to help me choose, and it's still a pain. With live content, review of content before consumption is no longer possible. I guess new forms of creator review could come up. I really liked this perspective that takes a broader historical look at oral culture https://zeynep.substack.com/p/the-clubhouse-app-and-the-rise-of [ still not convinced live can scale, but maybe less o :) ]

      Or maybe just five minutes:

      > If you just want the results: one person (Case B) infected two other people (case A and C) from a distance away of 6.5 meters (~21 feet) and 4.8m (~15 feet). Case B and case A overlapped for just five minutes at quite a distance away. These people were well beyond the current 6 feet / 2 meter guidelines of CDC and much further than the current 3 feet / one meter distance advocated by the WHO. And they still transmitted the virus.

Restaurants are majorly associated with spread. They’re unmasked, indoor environments where people talk.

Here’s an interesting report where two people were infected with just five min of overlap by an unmasked person. Extremely detailed contact tracing by the south koreans.

TV, by contrast, gets other people to stay at home in front of the TV and not be bored. A super vital service right now!
