Y Combinator's early blog on Posterous announced new partners, conferences, funded companies and application deadlines.
HN commenters link it for announcements of new YC partners and as a lasting record of information that Paul Graham otherwise posted on Twitter.
Paul Graham congratulated AppJets in this post: http://ycombinator.posterous.com/congratulations-appjets.
What got my attention was the "all-Javascript application platform" that the AppJets didn't know they were building.
We are building a stack of web apps for small businesses, not small apps. Unlike other cloud computing/database software/marketplaces out there, we provide our external developers with a really great platform.
Our primary target will always be the end users. Look at Form Creator, an app developed in record time that rivals pricy commercial web services!
We are building apps that customers will be willing to pay for. If a JS Rails will emerge from our own endeavor, even better; but we are not writing a framework.
We also don't stretch too far with the hosting infrastructure. Erbix will serve its purpose: web apps for small businesses.

It's all fairly muddled: http://www.merchantequip.com/merchant-account-blog/1027/a-comparison-of-3-alternative-payment-methods.
I imagine PayPal gets the worst rep because of its larger user base - though I could be wrong. Google Checkout has some horror stories, too.
One of the last times this was discussed, a YC-funded start-up was mentioned: http://ycombinator.posterous.com/need-to-process-payments. I haven't seen nor heard anything about it, and it's US-only, but maybe pg can give us the inside scoop on the progress.
Hmm... I think maybe this is where a big part of the problem lies. SEO hasn't been "black magic" for a long time now, and most of the "black magic" that worked from 1997-2003 is dead and gone, replaced by creative marketing, accessibility and best practices.
But perhaps that message has been drowned out by the ongoing perception from those early years of SEO?
BTW - this might be good material to explain my point above - http://ycombinator.posterous.com/the-first-yc-conference
Plus he's a part-time partner at YC http://ycombinator.posterous.com/welcome-sam-garry-emmett-and-justin.
I'd love to have this question answered.
Edit: Apparently, he just changed his role at Justin.TV to an advisor. So I think most of his time is spent on Exec, while on the side advising YC companies, Justin.TV/Twitch.TV, and Socialcam. But still definitely a lot for one person to manage.
Thanks for the info! Could you give some more information about your setup (Chrome version, OS)?

I am using the default Posterous theme with only a minor addition to have a custom favicon. Can you see other posterous blogs properly with that browser, for example http://ycombinator.posterous.com/ ?
