I'm thrilled to announce the launch of my first open-source project and Hacker News post: JoblessDev! This platform is tailored for current CS students seeking internships and recent graduates looking for full-time roles, focusing on opportunities that require 0-3 years of experience.

Here’s what makes JoblessDev stand out:

Dynamic Search Capabilities: Easily filter job listings by terms, companies, and states. Timely Updates: Our system refreshes job postings every 6 hours, so you always see the latest opportunities. Bookmarking System: Keep track of interesting jobs with ease. Custom Notifications: Choose how often you want to be updated with new postings—ASAP, daily, or weekly.

      Tech Stack:

Frontend: NextJS, hosting on https://Vercel.com UI: https://ui.shadcn.com/ with https://v0.dev/ for rapid development. User Management: https://clerk.com for secure and scalable user authentication. Job Scheduling: https://trigger.dev for managing background jobs efficiently. Email: https://loops.so - loving them! We have many exciting features planned for the future, including an application tracking system to further simplify the job search process. JoblessDev is 100% open-source, and we eagerly welcome contributions from the community to help it grow.

Check out JoblessDev [https://joblessdev.com] | Interactive Demo [https://app.arcade.software/share/XAWkjRzjVGqdlSRIeq33]

As this is my first open-source launch, I’m eager to hear your feedback and suggestions. Let's make the path…

Awesome product! Although Trigger.dev is fully capable, if you want to skip installing the browser infra and offload it to a remote session, I wrote a tutorial recently on how to use Anchor Browser with Trigger.dev to achieve this: - https://trigger.dev/docs/guides/example-projects/anchor-browser-web-scraper - https://anchorbrowser.io/blog/integrate-trigger-dev-and-anchor-browser

Looking forward to tracking Trigger.dev's success in the future.

For sure, you can handle generating both images and text in the same workflow running multiple AI SDK operations in parallel or sequence, and then combine the outputs however you need for your PDFs.

I'd recommend browsing our examples docs (https://trigger.dev/docs/guides/introduction) if you want to see different ways of using the AI SDK and converting / generating PDFs (React to PDF / Libreoffice, etc).

We’ve been using Algora at https://trigger.dev for a while now. Other than being great for bountying issues we’ve found it especially helpful for getting video walkthroughs of our onboarding created and improving our docs.

      Great product!

Congrats this is huge! I've been in the market looking for a tool like this and was curious to know how this compares against toolings such as Temporal (https://temporal.io/product) or Trigger.dev(https://trigger.dev/) ?
