Tumblr blog on startups, venture capital, product design and hiring, with posts on Craigslist unbundling and Airbnb.
HN links it mainly for the Craigslist unbundling graphic, which commenters say makes the concept immediately clear; the author also asks for credit on the image.
That concept traces back to unbundling Craigslist, from 2010:

(That's been submitted to HN but with no traction to date: https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=true&query=spawn%20of%20craigslist&sort=byPopularity&type=story)
As mtgentry replied, Craigslist had a huge advantage in being first to market. But now as Craigslist is being supplanted by more niche focused sites, you better believe that good design will be an integral part of those new sites. Would be interesting to compile a "spawn of unix" diagram similar to the craigslist diagram, of startups that carve out niches of unix functionality.

The graphic in this short article [0] that shows the numerous companies "unbundled" from Craigslist is worth the click and will help you instantly understand the concept.

This is a clever twist on unbundling. Well done.
Craigslist is misspelled (there is an "s" in it).
Giving me a photo credit would be courteous as the author of that image. https://thegongshow.tumblr.com/post/345941486/the-spawn-of-craigslist-like-most-vcs-that-focus

I think you didn't grasp the phrase "second order effects."
