Squeak News covers the Squeak Smalltalk community, with posts on releases, ports to phones, and learning materials.
HN links it for Squeak ports to Android and iPhone, the Monticello version control system, and a free robotics programming book.
The two examples I can think of is ColorForth[1] (not sure what the representation is there, or how/if one would couple it with a (D)VCS), and of course Smalltak with it's DVCS Monticello:

I had no idea there was such a new rewrite (2008), but then I keep forgetting that DVCS are rather new (as in popular, free-software DVCS are pretty new - git is just over 10 years).

Well there are ports of Squeak (Smalltalk) Cog VM on Android (CogDroid [1]), and to iOS (see e. g. [2]) which are capable of running recent Squeak and Pharo images and are development environments on their own. (Disclaimer: I am a co-developer of [1])
