Samsung Internet's developer team writes about progressive web apps, browser diversity, and web platform features.
HN links it for details on OffscreenCanvas, ad blocking in Samsung Internet, and the Payment Request API, which one commenter says sites rarely use.
Honestly, I'm not sure. My needs were very minimal, one Deno stdlib import, and one third party module import (for ini file parsing). https://deno.land/x/ has their third party module ecosystem, but it's all just JS in the end, so I think think there's anything making it so you couldn't use the NPM ecosystem.
I found this article[1] which seems to indicate if the node packages use ES modules you can use import them as is, or if not it says JSPM can help with that.

The top 5 mobile browsers all allow ad blockers except Chrome. Samsung Internet which is based on the same chromium engine as chrome has had a similar ad block model as Safari for over 1 year now (and is the default browser on Samsung Galaxy devices - https://medium.com/samsung-internet-dev/think-you-know-the-top-web-browsers-458a0a070175 )
This seems to have been out since 2016 (https://medium.com/samsung-internet-dev/how-to-take-payments-on-the-web-with-the-payment-request-api-a523f6fc7c1f). Yet, I haven't seen even one website use it in production. Was this a failure or am I missing something?
p.s. I hope it catches on.
