Fog Creek Software, Joel Spolsky's company, posted about FogBugz, its offices, and the shift to Glitch.
HN links it for company news such as FogBugz becoming Manuscript, its sale, the Glitch rename, and the new office design.
This announcement makes the prior news last year feel downright dishonest:

If Fogcreek is dumping Fogbugz, at least they could have made that plain from the start, rather then go through a crap re-branding effort and pretending there was an actual new vision (other than to offload the property).
I guess I'll be investigating new SDLC tools for 2019. It's been a good run of 11 years for Fogbugz (for my team), but I guess the writings on the wall...
I'm still trying to locate the iteration that bugged me, but from what I can see of their new-new-new offices, they seem to be more in keeping with the style I talk about above:

... except that there is so little workspace that I had to stare at the picture for about fifteen seconds to figure out if they did, in fact, have any employees at all.
In some ways. They did raise $60 million, too, which didn't hurt. I think we're doing just fine having a successful business on our own terms.
For what it's worth, Atlassian's NYC headquarters is… our Fog Creek offices, complete with private offices for coders. More about that here: https://medium.com/make-better-software/apple-is-about-to-do-something-their-programmers-definitely-dont-want-fc19f5f4487

Sure, but it is a literal answer to what you asked, 'what it is'. For what it does (the toys), I recommend the Feature Tour (https://www.manuscript.com/features/task-management) and for the problem, beyond the video, the best source for now is the launch post: https://medium.com/make-better-software/introducing-manuscript-aa4aabdc0f6c. I'll get more from that added to the homepage. Thanks for the feedback.
Fog Creek ceased to exist and became Glitch several years ago, which was when they split off from anything using Wasabi (I was working on the FogBugz team at the time): https://medium.com/make-better-software/fog-creek-is-now-glitch-8d0308aaf69e
It' now a part of Fastly: https://www.fastly.com/press/press-releases/fastly-announces-acquisition-of-glitch
It'll keep your morality and ethics in check, too.
