Google's blog on its commerce products, including Google Shopping, Checkout, and Wallet, with announcements of launches and shutdowns.
HN commenters cite it for Shopping's shift to paid listings, Wallet's money-sending feature, and the Checkout shutdown announcement.
I understand the necessity of Javascript if you have a web app, but a lot of sites fail to display a page of text or a list of links if Javascript is disabled [1]. In my view, this is poor practice. What seems to be happening is that more and more people are using Javascript frameworks to build web sites (not web apps). This probably makes things easier for the developer. I'm not convinced it always makes for a better experience for users.
[1] Some examples of sites that won't display anything if Javascript is disabled (even though they're most displaying text):

Wouldn't that make Google Wallet to banks as Google Voice is to mobile operators?
I also just realized that the Wallet app doesn't require an Internet connection to make NFC payments (cf. tip at the end of http://googlecommerce.blogspot.fr/2012/08/use-any-credit-or-debit-card-with.html).
Google Shopping has moved to a paid inclusion model, and it looks like no one in the vitamin sector has paid...
Here's Google's May 31st announcement on the change: http://googlecommerce.blogspot.com/2012/05/building-better-shopping-experience.html
The shutdown of checkout was announced in May.

I'm a fan. We use it several times a week.
