      TLDR:

The premise isn't ambitious enough, the use cases seem thin, and the lack of marketing pop reflects a lack of distinct USP. But, I'm encouraged to see someone trying technically ambitious work like this because its barking up the right tree.

      Long version:

It seems like your value prop is possibly about how various workflows are organized vis-a-vis each other, but that really doesn't come through in your marketing. Rethinking the info architecture and organization of information in support of more efficient and focused workflows is a promising place to go but everything in the screenshots shows me things I've already seen. Each of the items in your marketing had me going 'I already have something for that, and this is probably way worse'.

I'm not seeing ideas in here yet that are sufficient to consider worthy of the technical challenge you've undertaken - that is, an environment where you have complete control over apps.

For instance, app grids are terrible, even the notion of apps is terrible because apps have their own distractions and workflows span apps. I'd expect something that sits at a layer below (web)apps to be able to do something about that, like extract useful things from apps without showing me the whole app. You need to flex your unique position with product approaches like this.

The main idea I'm seeing besides organizing is the time/task system. This looks a bit like single player Clockwise [1] and raises more questions than it answers. The main…

Hi there, are you crafting each of these emails individually? I expect that would take up a bunch of time.

Here's some rules we generally follow:

      1. Try to pick something that would normally require layers of research: E.g. “I saw that you posted every day for the last 2 weeks, and that it’s your first time running a business.” 1. make this line short and to the point 2. Ask a question about a common pain point they are mostly likely going through. 3. Say what you do, but god damn it say it fast - show that you can help with their problem. 4. EITHER 1. mention a case study that the reader is likely to relate to. 2. Offer to build something for free that others are charging for

[Example of what this looks like](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SZ0zW6L7vYdmOgjXvAZqkVZPj_0lXubB/view?usp=sharing)

      - Simple message structure to use: 1. *observation* → explaining why we reached out 2. *problem* → referring to the complexity of pain points, that they face daily 3. *solution* → showing how we can help 4. *CTA with value* → asking if they are open for a convo while highlighting the benefit - Run your email through https://mailmeteor.com/spam-checker to detect spam keywords

I run a cold outbound agency, so I'd be happy to connect if you're interested in outsourcing any of this :) I know it seems overwhelming, but hopefully you found some of this actionable. Feel free to book 30 minutes if interested…

Salesforce has lost half its market cap in the last ~year. Spending time and money to acquire a calendar scheduler shows just how badly they have lost the plot.

I know this is an HN meme but can someone look at https://www.getclockwise.com/overview and explain why an internal team couldn't build this in a couple of weeks? And it's not like Salesforce is lacking engineers - they employ 83,000 people globally (!!)

At work, we've been pushing everyone to use an app called clockwise. Basically it integrates with your calendar, moves meetings around (with your approval) to maximize focus time (2+ hour blocks of work).

It also allows you to set up "Do not disturb" on slack during your focus and meeting time. It's awesome.

(BTW, no personal association with the company, just a happy user).
