Quora's company blog announces product launches such as Spaces and ads, along with security notices like its user data breach.
HN commenters link its security update on the data compromise, which prompted talk of password reuse. Quora also posts job listings in HN threads.
Quora | ML Engineer | Mountain View ML, Python, C++, TensorFlow, Spark, Information Retrieval
Quora’s mission is to share and grow the world’s knowledge. We are an internet-scale Library of Alexandria, a place where people go to learn about anything and share everything they know.
At Quora, we use Machine Learning in almost every part of the product - feed ranking, answer ranking, search, topic and user recommendations, spam detection etc. Within the past few months we released a large duplicate question dataset [1], built out Quora on Alexa and Google Home [2] and linked Quora Topics to Wikidata [3].
As a Machine Learning expert, you will have a unique opportunity to have high impact by advancing these systems, as well as uncovering new opportunities to apply Machine Learning to the Quora product. As a ML Infrastructure Expert, you will play a key role in developing tools and abstractions that our other developers would build on top of.

I said a lot, not everything, you've chosen three, I'm happy to respond:
A full name is required to add content to Quora, if you just want to browse, you aren't stopped from doing that with a different/fake name, just ask https://www.quora.com/John-Smith-3000?share=1
We ask people to log in to see content, but it's not required, you can add ?share=1 to the end of any Quora URL to see the content. We also don't require login to view posts. More about that here: https://blog.quora.com/Making-Sharing-Better
Questions aren't "yours" answers and posts are though. Questions are a collaborative resource, so not unlike an entire Wikipedia page, you can't delete it as an individual, though if there are no answers to the question, you can delete it within a particular window of activity. If you go anonymous on the question your name won't be associated with it, same thing if you delete your account. More on question ownership here: https://www.quora.com/Quora-Policies-and-Guidelines/What-is-Quoras-policy-on-community-control-of-questions-Should-I-feel-a-sense-of-responsibility-over-questions-that-I-ask-on-Quora?share=1
I respect that you clearly feel that Quora should work differently than it does, and that's fine, we've continued to make changes and improvements, some which people like, some which people don't, but the goal is to create a great resource for people, if you think it's not a great resource and it's useless to you, we'll keep trying to improve, though that may never…

At Quora, we use Machine Learning in almost every part of the product - feed ranking, answer ranking, search, topic and user recommendations, spam detection, etc. Within the past year we released a large question sincerity dataset [1], improved our statistical tests for ratio metrics [2], and introduced a new feature that allows people to curate collections and form communities around shared interests and tastes [3].

https://blog.quora.com/Quora-Security-Update seems to be misleading, especially the introduction. They start with 'some user data was compromised', however, it seems that for 'approximately 100 million Quora users' – that's basically all users! – all user data was compromised …
In addition, many questions remain open, for example: Which ' leading digital forensics and security firm' is working for Quora?
I hope for Quora that they met their 72-hour deadline according to the GDPR. Looking at https://www.quora.com/about/privacy, it does not look if Quora was / is GDPR-ready. They do not mention any legal basis for the processing (art. 13 GDPR) and they do not inform about their GDPR data representative in the EU (art. 27 GDPR).
Quora has a decent community of developers and computer scientists while offering great writing experience and content exposure for a blog platform, though its primary purpose is being a Q&A site. [0]
The code rendering and presentation on the site is also on par with what you'd expect from sites like Stack Exchange and ilk.
One downside however is the extremely low quality content on some topics (most, rather) that gives rise to hive mind and polarization, especially around sensitive subject matter.

This very week you had the Quora users info leak (https://blog.quora.com/Quora-Security-Update) where users info, including and their encrypted passwords, were compromised.
Password reuse, or even following a simple pattern for having different password for each site (i.e. a seed+site name) is the main problem here. If one site falls, then it should not be trivial to deduce your password or how to attack it for other, maybe more important or secure, sites.
