A personal blog of essays on social life, happiness, habits and opinions, covering topics like throwing good parties and conversation styles.
HN links it for its personal essays on social topics. The one comment quotes it on family communication habits and interrupting, without judging the blog.
> Now, I was raised in a family where good communication was never held in high regard and you can clearly see that in a way we hold conversations as a group: People often speak on top of each other and it’s completely normal to interrupt the other person just to share a random thought you just had.
Unfortunately mixes listening with judgement about interruption.

I have an interruptor friend who then lectures me about turn-taking (plus they then drone on a topic they know I loath: after telling me it is her turn!).
