Arctype's blog is from the makers of a database GUI, with SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite and database security tutorials.
Commenters mention the Arctype tool as an alternative to DBeaver and Postico, and one notes its end-of-life announcement.
I started with mysql in late 90's, switched to postgre and would prefer that instead of MySQL if it is my decision. MySQL is faster than postgres is a myth. Please see this https://arctype.com/blog/performance-difference-between-postgresql-and-mysql/
One thing mysql is better than postgres is that mysql can fast replicate across different data centers. See this blog: https://www.uber.com/en-DK/blog/postgres-to-mysql-migration/
However what Uber is doing may not be what you doing. So do some research and hire qualified db admin or devop people to make the informed choice.
The link is to an image of the Arctype newsletter I received. I apologize for not having a better source. I couldn't find an online version of the newsletter, or any news sources that covered the end-of-life announcement.
If you go to the Arctype website (https://arctype.com/) you can see that you can no longer download the app, and you see an announcement banner at top that they are joining ClickHouse.
I am personally pretty sad that development won't continue on the Arctype SQL Client, as it is the primary client I currently use.
Postico is amazing! I'm glad to see a new version come out.
The one major thing that's missing is that it doesn't support collaboration features (to share queries, manage access across your team, etc). If you need that functionality and want a more Superhuman/Linear-style modern UI with lots of keyboard shortcuts, I suggest you try Arctype (https://arctype.com). Disclosure: I'm a founder. It supports not just Postgres but also MySQL, SQLite, PlanetScale, Yugabyte, etc.
Wouldn't the tool we are commenting on solve your problem nicely or what are you missing? Have you checked out the sqlite database where they are all stored? Does the iMessage search not work for this use case?

I recently started using Arctype (https://arctype.com/) and have really enjoyed the experience so far. Relatively new tool, but the team is awesome. It's a SQL client that has some basic data visualization features seemingly geared towards engineers
Thank you all for the many great answers! Definitely a lot to look at! Currently Appsmith (and/or) Lowdefy seem to fit best for me.
